| 职位描述： | Purpose of your role<br>The position is for an experienced Java senior developer/specialist. The candidate should be an expert in Java/J2EE technologies specifically Core Java, JSPs, Servlets, JDBC, Struts and Javascript. The candidate should be able to implement complex business logic using the Java development framework. The person must have knowledge of Oracle database. The role requires detailed understanding of integration of J2EE based applications with Oracle database. The project uses Fidelity defined software development methodologies (FSDM).<br> <br>The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development of individual modules within the application which would involve interaction with the business and system analysts for understanding the requirements followed by design, development and unit testing of the software. He/She should be able to work in Websphere IDE (RAD/eclipse) and be aware of UML. The candidate is expected to lead a team of developers with complete ownership of delivery of small-to-medium scale projects.<br> <br>The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment.<br> <br>Your key accountabilities<br>• Assume complete execution responsibility of small size project independently<br>• Understand business requirements through direct interaction and define the scope of work<br>• Design and development of the J2EE based web application on Websphere<br>• Ensure that work performed within the group is supportable and completed within the overall IT strategy of FIL<br>• Ensure that work is completed to a sufficient level of quality<br>• Ensure adherence to change management processes and assist in facilitating the ongoing review and enhancement of these processes.<br>• Works under minimal supervision to meet goals set by management<br>• Maintain Quality documents and follow the process defied for development<br> <br>Your skills and experience<br> <br>• Essential skills<br>• At least 4 years Java development experience in a commercial environment<br>• At least 2 year experience on JSP, HTML, Javascript (Front end technologies)<br>• Practical experience or understanding of using the Struts framework and Oracle RDBMS<br>• Experience on standard application servers like Websphere<br>• Experience on standard IDE like Web Sphere Application Development/RAD/Eclipse<br>• Understanding of Object Oriented design with the ability to comfortably navigate around a large Web Application<br>• Familiarity with Unix<br>• 4+ years overall experience within IT<br>• Understanding UML modelling concepts<br>• Ability to work in both Windows and UNIX platforms<br> <br>• Desirable skills<br>• Practical experience in using the Struts framework<br>• Hands on SQL and PL/SQL experience<br>• Experience in Hibernate and Spring framework<br>• Experience in any reporting tool like IBI WebFocus, Hyperion, Crystal or Actuate<br>• Experience & good understanding of full development life cycle<br>• Experience in the use of a source control management system like PVCS, Clearcase<br>• Experience with WebSphere Studio development tools a strong plus<br> <br>• Behavioural:<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a strong team player<br>• Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment<br>• The successful candidate must be highly motivated, fast learner, flexible, willing to assume responsibility, and deliver quality work on time<br> |
